We think we are separated from other humans and even more from other animals, plants, and other life forms by the fact that we are distinct individuals. But that individuality is an illusion. Like other animals, indeed like other entities, from the tree to the waterfall, we are embodiments of universal Will, the struggling suffering energy that animates everything in the world.
